Mobile Telephony Integration with Microsoft Teams: Next-Generation Direct Routing for Your Calls
Un1ty is the communication platform that directly routes your Microsoft Teams calls to your enterprise mobile telephony. Move beyond the limitations of Operator Connect or standard Microsoft calling plans.
Even better, Un1ty also integrates with your business tools (CRM systems and ticketing platforms) to centralize all your customer conversations in one place.
Key Features of the Microsoft Teams Integration with Un1ty Mobile Telephony
More than an integration—your telecom operator
Un1ty provides the core infrastructure through its certified SIP Trunks:
- Numbers (DIDs): Local, national, or mobile numbers available instantly
- Simplified Portability: We handle the porting of your existing lines to the Un1ty network
- Compliance: Access to emergency numbers and adherence to local telecom regulations
Merge your eSIM with the Microsoft Cloud through Un1ty Mobile Native
- Native Dialer (No App Required): Employees simply use the standard green “Phone” button on their smartphone. Calls are carried over the GSM network (prioritized HD quality) while displaying the user’s Teams business number.
- Compatible with Microsoft Copilot: GSM calls automatically sync within the Teams ecosystem and become eligible for AI-powered insights from Microsoft Copilot.
- Real Presence Sync: Taking a GSM call on your mobile? Your Teams status on desktop automatically updates to “Busy.”
Never lose valuable business data
Because Un1ty operates as the telecom provider upstream of Teams, we enrich the voice stream with advanced features:
- Call Recording: Automatically record calls (desk and mobile) for compliance and training purposes.
- AI Summary: Receive an automatic call summary and transcription immediately after the conversation ends.
- CRM Logging: Every call is logged in your CRM (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive) with a direct link to the recording.
Security beyond Operator Connect
While Operator Connect locks your call flows into the Microsoft cloud, our Direct Routing architecture keeps routing fully under control.
This technical choice enables 3CX backup continuity: if Teams servers experience an outage, call traffic is instantly redirected to our backup infrastructure powered by 3CX. Your business communications remain uninterrupted.
Benefits of the Un1ty × Microsoft Teams Mobile Telephony Integration
- Enhanced performance and customer insights: benefit from voicemail transcription, automatic call summaries, and enriched CRM logging.
- Technical flexibility: unlike rigid calling plans, Un1ty Direct Routing allows you to connect specialized equipment (fax, analog devices, DECT systems) and manage complex routing scenarios.
- Significant cost savings: our pricing is structurally more competitive than Microsoft calling plans, helping you reduce your overall telecom costs by 30% to 50%.
- Zero-Touch Deployment: despite the power of Direct Routing, everything is managed easily through the Microsoft Store—no complex PowerShell scripts required.
